Overview Join our team as a Multi-Classroom Specialist (Floater), where your energy and dedication will help create a nurturing, engaging environment for young learners. In this role, you will support classroom activities across various age groups, assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans, and ensure each child's developmental needs are met with care and professionalism. Duties Assist lead teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math, and early childhood development strategies. Support classroom management by fostering positive behavior and creating a safe, inclusive environment for children of different abilities. Provide hands-on childcare for toddlers and preschoolers, including diapering, feeding, and engaging in age-appropriate play to promote social-emotional growth. Float between classrooms as needed to cover absences or assist with special programs, ensuring smooth transitions and consistent learning experiences. Support children's individual needs through behavior management techniques and personalized attention, especially in Montessori or other specialized educational settings. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement curriculum adaptations that meet diverse learning styles and developmental stages. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians about daily activities, progress, and any concerns regarding their child's well-being. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents. Ability to work flexibly across multiple classrooms as a floater to support staffing needs.
