In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care programs. Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and educational activities to ensure safety and positive behavior management. Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills among children. Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding each child's progress, behavior, and needs. Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently; administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies. Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining organization and cleanliness of the learning space. Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized plans for children with special education needs or disabilities. Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated classroom management skills with young children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in behavior management or special education is advantageous. Proven ability to create engaging learning environments that support social-emotional growth and developmental milestones.
