Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants 6 weeks- 12 months old , supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and attentive caregiving. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, classroom management, and effective communication with both children and parents. The Infant Teacher will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning experience that promotes growth, curiosity, and emotional well-being. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans tailored to infants' developmental stages Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting infants as needed Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Engage children in sensory activities, playtime, and early learning exercises to promote cognitive and motor skills Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in caregiving approaches and classroom management Follow all licensing requirements and safety protocols related to infant care Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers Strong classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible environment Ability to provide caregiving tasks such as feeding, diapering, and comforting with patience and sensitivity Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for infants Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred; ongoing training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, caregivers, and team members Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a caring attitude Experience with classroom experience or nannying/babysitting roles involving infant care is highly valued
