Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Daycare Aide from 11:00 AM-5:30pm (32.5 hours weekly) to supervise Daycare activities at our childcare facility. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood and committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Prior experience in daycare or classroom settings, along with relevant certifications, is highly valued. 14 Kids maximum with 2 staff members on shift. Shifts will be Monday-Friday 11:00am-5:30 pm. (32.5 hours weekly) Employees can bring their (1) child to work with them if on Best Beginnings or can pay a discounted daycare rate. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Implement daily routines including meal times, nap schedules, and playtime Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in accordance with health and safety standards Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving tasks for infants and toddlers. Support inclusive practices for children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities as necessary. Follow all licensing regulations and company policies related to child safety and care Requirements 14 hours of state required training is required to be completed within 30 days of Hire. Fingerprinting and background check required, approval by licensing is required before you can start. Must become CPR certified, if not already.
