$20.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule:
Full-time; M-F (8:00am-5pm) Position Summary An early childhood teacher serves as the primary spiritual and educational leader of the classroom. This position creates a Christ-centered environment where children are safe, known, loved, and supported through biblical teaching and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Primary ResponsibilitiesSpiritual Formation & Discipleship Model Christ-like character in interactions with children, families, and coworkers. Integrate biblical truth into daily routines and learning experiences. Lead Bible lessons, prayer, worship, and faith-based activities. Help children understand and demonstrate biblical values. Partner with families in the spiritual development of their children. Classroom Leadership Take ownership of the daily culture, organization, and operation of the classroom. Provide daily direction and support to Assistant and Substitute Teachers. Lead classroom communication and staff handoffs. Model reliability, preparation, teamwork, and professional conduct. Curriculum & Child Development Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Conduct developmental observations and assessments. Complete progress reports and parent-teacher conferences. Identify and communicate developmental, behavioral, or learning concerns. Child Care, Behavior & Safety Maintain active supervision and required staff-to-child ratios. Implement positive and developmentally appropriate behavior guidance. Track recurring behavior concerns and support individual behavior plans. Follow all health, sanitation, emergency, child protection, and licensing requirements. Family Communication & Classroom Operations Build trusted and professional relationships with families. Provide regular communication regarding children's experiences, development, and needs. Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and classroom documentation. Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, prepared, and welcoming. Qualifications & Core Expectations Strong alignment with the Christian mission and values of Venture Sprouts. Meets all applicable Montana childcare licensing requirements. Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Ability to lead a classroom and provide direction to other staff. Demonstrates reliability, initiative, patience, communication, and sound judgment. Maintains required background checks, certifications, and training.
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
