You'll:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily learning experiences Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development Encourage creativity, independence, confidence, and positive peer relationships Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress Build strong, trusting relationships with families through regular communication Mentor and support Assistant Teachers while promoting teamwork and collaboration Maintain an organized classroom that meets health, safety, and Montana licensing requirements Partner with center leadership to provide high-quality early childhood education What We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced educator who is ready to take ownership of a classroom and make a positive impact on young learners. Previous experience as a Preschool Teacher or Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare or early learning program Strong understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices Experience planning and implementing preschool curriculum Strong classroom management and communication skills Organized, dependable, and team-oriented Positive and collaborative leadership style Passion for working with preschool-aged children CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire) Ability to complete all required Montana licensing, training, and background check requirements Grow With Discovery Kidzone At Discovery Kidzone, we believe our teachers are the heart of everything we do.
