Early Childhood Teacher (Permanent, Full-Time) Flathead Childcare - Columbia Falls Flathead Childcare is seeking a passionate, long-term Early Childhood Teacher to join our warm, dynamic team. We're looking for someone who loves working with children, engages them through play-based learning, and brings reliability and efficiency to the classroom. Training ready:

You must already hold all required trainings and an active approval on the Montana Early Childhood Project (ECP) registry or be willing to complete the trainings and obtain approval within your first week of employment (we'll help you get there!). Key Responsibilities Design and lead fun, developmentally appropriate activities that nurture creativity, social skills, and early academics. Keep the classroom safe, inclusive, and rich with hands-on exploration. Balance quality playtime with routine cleaning so the environment stays tidy and inviting. Partner with fellow teachers to create cohesive learning experiences, including individualized support for children with special needs. Build warm, professional relationships with families, sharing progress and addressing concerns. Use positive behavior-guidance strategies to develop children's emotional regulation and social competence. Experience & Qualifications Genuine passion for working with young children (non-negotiable!). Previous experience in early childhood education, daycare, or preschool strongly preferred. Familiarity with Montessori or other child-centered approaches is a plus. Strong, clear communication with children, families, and teammates. Degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred but not required. ECP registry approval already in place, or ability to obtain it within one week of hire.
