Kiddie Kare Too, Albemarle, NC is a five star childcare center operating at current location for over 20 years. We serve children's age 0-5 years in full time program and 5+ through 12 years in afterschool program. We take care of the Pre-K children of 4/5 years in Two NC Pre-K Rooms Currently, we are looking for a dedicated person to act as a Lead Teacher in a NC Pre-K classroom that meets educational requirement and occupational standards set by NCDCDEE to provide active supervision to children under her/his care under the guidance of the Center Director. Qualifications Must hold a valid North Carolina Birth-through-Kindergarten (B-K) Standard Professional license, or a bachelor's degree in a related field combined with active enrollment in an approved B-K educator preparation plan. Additional pathways include provisional, lateral entry, or residency B-K licenses. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds in a supportive environment. Works letter, CBC letter and must meet Health requirement set by the state to work with Pre-K kids The candidate must be an excellent team player
