Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare or safety. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations by keeping First Aid and CPR certifications current and adhering to childcare standards. Skills Extensive experience working with children across various age groups, including preschoolers and toddlers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early intervention strategies. Proven classroom experience with effective classroom management and behavior management techniques. Skilled in lesson planning tailored to early childhood education goals such as literacy education, math skills, and physical activity. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with special education needs and inclusive teaching practices to support diverse learners. Ability to implement standardized testing when appropriate to monitor developmental progress. Experience in daycare or private school settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare issues. Strong organizational skills for maintaining detailed records of child development progress and incident reports.
