Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and promote holistic development. Create an inviting classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction among children. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, arts and crafts, physical activities, and storytime. Support children's emotional well-being through positive behavior management strategies and individualized attention. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address concerns. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child development progress and incidents. Collaborate with colleagues on program planning, special education needs, early intervention strategies, and classroom management techniques. Skills Extensive experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early literacy education. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques. Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering a safe and inclusive environment for toddlers and preschoolers. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate math, physical education, art, literacy activities, and standardized testing when appropriate. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification to ensure child safety at all times. Experience working within private school or daycare environments is preferred but not required.
