Job Description
•Must have Pre-K credentials and work the hours of 8:00am-4:30pm•Compensation is based upon experience and qualifications Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our Pre Kindergarteners. The Pre-K Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play, exploration, and Kindergarten Readiness Responsibilities NC Pre‑K Lead Teacher credentials (B‑K License or BA/BS in ECE or related field with NC Pre‑K eligibility) At least 2 years of experience working with preschool‑age children Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all children, including those with disabilities. Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique learning needs and developmental milestones. Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Facilitate group activities that promote social skills, teamwork, and communication among peers. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Conduct assessments to monitor children's development and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Experience A bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required. Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is essential. Familiarity with childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Skills in toddler care, caregiving, and classroom management are highly valued. Previous experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
