Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Teacher dedicated to nurturing and inspiring children aged 2 to 3 years old. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging, and safe classroom environment that promotes early childhood development and fosters a love for learning. Your passion for working with young children and expertise in curriculum development will help lay a strong foundation for their future educational journey. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth through effective behavior management strategies. Conduct classroom activities focused on toddler care, early intervention, and special education needs to ensure all children receive personalized support. Manage daily classroom routines, including transitions, meal times, nap schedules, and play activities, ensuring safety and engagement at all times. Utilize classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and promote respectful interactions among children. Collaborate with parents and caregivers through regular communication about each child's progress, milestones, and any additional support required. Maintain accurate records of developmental assessments, standardized testing results, and lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards. Skills Extensive experience with children aged 2-3 years old in daycare or preschool settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including literacy education, math concepts, and behavior management techniques. Proficiency in curriculum development tailored to early learners using Montessori or similar educational philosophies. Ability to implement classroom management strategies that foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment. Experience working with students requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Familiarity with teaching physical education activities suitable for toddlers and integrating movement into daily routines.
