We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and understands that two-year-olds need lots of patience, consistency, encouragement, and love as they learn and grow. Responsibilities Provide a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment Supervise and actively engage with children throughout the day Lead age-appropriate learning activities, play, music, art, and story time Assist children with potty training and diapering as needed Serve meals and snacks and assist with classroom routines Maintain a clean, organized classroom Communicate professionally with parents and coworkers Follow all childcare licensing rules, center policies, and safety procedures Work as part of a team to support the overall success of the center Qualifications Must genuinely enjoy working with young children Dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance Patient, energetic, and nurturing Able to manage a classroom of active two-year-olds Strong communication and teamwork skills NC Early Childhood Credentials and 12 hours of Early Childhood Courses Prior experience in early childcare is preferred Must be willing to complete all required childcare training and background requirements
