As an Infant Lead Teacher, you will lead classroom activities, collaborate with families, and implement developmentally appropriate curricula that support each child's unique journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to infants' developmental stages, incorporating curriculum development principles and early childhood education best practices Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that promotes exploration, socialization, and emotional security for infants Conduct regular assessments of children's progress, utilizing child development instruction techniques and standardized testing where appropriate Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's milestones, behaviors, and daily experiences to foster strong partnerships Manage classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and age-appropriate activities while ensuring health and safety protocols are strictly followed Utilize behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among infants Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure all safety standards such as first aid and CPR certifications are up-to-date Requirements Associates Degree and ITSIDS required. Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with infants or toddlers Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care, literacy education, physical education, and behavior management Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early intervention or special education is a plus Classroom management skills with the ability to create an organized and nurturing environment Familiarity with daycare standards, preschool teaching practices, private school experience preferred Ability to adhere to all health regulations including childcare safety protocols and mandated reporting laws Join us in shaping the earliest years of children's lives by providing exceptional care and education.
