We are looking for a qualified Lead Pre-K Teacher to add to our staff! We are seeking someone highly motivated and committed with NC Early childcare credentials completed or in progress. This person should also have a great love and patience for children. Hours needed are 8am-5pm, with overtime offered. Pay will be discussed in interview and will be based on experience. Sick leave and a week paid vacation offered after working a year. Current CPR, First Aid, and SIDS certification is required or applicant must be willing to become certified ASAP. Lead Teacher:
Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents and caregivers Provide a classroom environment that encourages parent participation Collaborate with children's families to ensure a smooth transition from home to child care setting Create weekly plans and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that nurtures and stimulates all domains of each child's development in their care Provide a developmentally appropriate classroom environment that reflects the children's learning and growth Perform ongoing developmental evaluations of children as required Ensure that DCDEE standards are followed at all times Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
