In this dynamic role, you will be a vital part of creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, support classroom activities, and ensure a positive experience for children, parents, and staff alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside passionate educators committed to early education excellence. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning. Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, and outdoor play to ensure safety and positive behavior. Maintain classroom organization by preparing materials, proofreading educational resources, and ensuring all supplies are ready for daily activities. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom events to foster strong home-school connections. Requirements At least two years Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings or similar environments such as private schools or Montessori programs. Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom behavior management, and educational compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff to support instructional goals. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members clearly and professionally. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire. Proficiency in using computers and educational technologies to support teaching activities. Ability to supervise children safely at all times while maintaining a lively, positive classroom atmosphere.
