Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Floater/Infant Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a nurturing environment for our youngest learners. In this dynamic role, you will provide flexible support across classrooms, ensuring each child receives attentive care and developmentally appropriate activities. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities tailored to infants and toddlers' developmental stages Provide attentive supervision and care, ensuring children's safety and well-being at all times Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure setting Collaborate with team members to adapt activities for children with special needs or disabilities Participate in ongoing training related to childhood development instruction, behavior management, and mandated reporting laws Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is required or willing to obtain upon hire Strong classroom management skills with the ability to supervise multiple children effectively Ability to communicate clearly with parents, colleagues, and children in a warm and professional manner Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently while following mandated reporting laws Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives!
