The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children, providing a safe and engaging environment for their growth and development. This role involves caring for children of various ages, from infants to toddlers, and requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Duties Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, and nap times. Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions among children. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment that is conducive to learning. Plan and execute educational activities that align with early childhood education standards. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs. Skills First aid certification is highly desirable. Experience working with people with disabilities is a plus. Proficiency in toddler care, infant care, and general childcare practices. Strong teaching skills with the ability to create engaging lesson plans. Previous experience as a nanny or in daycare settings is beneficial. Background in babysitting or caregiving for children of various ages. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support positive child interactions. Classroom experience or preschool experience is advantageous.
