In this rewarding role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. Your passion for child development and experience working with children will help foster their growth, curiosity, and social skills. You will play a vital role in supporting families and guiding children through their early learning journey with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction Implement curriculum plans focused on childhood development, early education standards, and behavioral management Ensure the safety of all children by maintaining vigilant supervision and adhering to health and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR procedures Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Assist with classroom organization, including setting up materials, cleaning up activities, and maintaining a welcoming environment Support children with special needs or disabilities by applying inclusive teaching strategies and collaborating with specialists when needed Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or wellbeing Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a strong plus Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; additional training in early childhood education or childhood development is advantageous Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members in a professional manner Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and preschool curriculum standards is desirable Previous nannying or babysitting experience that showcases responsibility and nurturing skills Join us in making a meaningful difference in children's lives!
