Job Description

Overview Join our childcare team as a Nursery Worker, where your passion for early childhood development will help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for young children. In this role, you will support the growth and well-being of children from infancy through toddler age by providing attentive supervision, nurturing care, and educational activities that promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Duties Supervise children on Wednesday evening and Sunday morning to ensure safety and engagement. (Sunday Mornings from 9:30-12:30 pm and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 pm) Expectation of appropriate clothing and communication with children and parents. Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and well-being are prioritized at all times Administer basic first aid when necessary Requirements Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is preferred Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required or obtainable upon hire Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision techniques Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement strategies Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols Passion for early childhood education and nurturing young learners

$35.00 - $50.00 per day
