As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Treachers (Class Teacher, Support Staff/Floater) to join our professional early childhood education team. Position Overview Kiddie Academy of Harrisburg is hiring Preschool Teachers, Support Staff/Floaters (Full-Time & Part-Time). We are a state-of-the-art early learning center looking for caring, reliable educators who are passionate about early childhood education and creating a nurturing classroom environment. Key Responsibilities Working as a Teacher and Assistant Teachers with activities & transitions Supervise children at all times Assist with: Meals, Diapering/Toileting Nap time Maintain cleanliness of the classroom Any other tasks as presented by the Administrative Team Lesson Planning (appropriate activities, engaging lesson plans) Ensure licensing and ratio compliance in the classroom Classroom Management (Daily Schedules, Positive Behavior Guidance, Child Assessments, Classroom Documentation to be submitted to the Director) Classroom Environment (Clean, Safe, Engaging) Leadership (Supervise Co-Teacher, Supervise Support Staff) Communication (Daily updates, Conferences) Qualifications Prior experience working in an early childhood education setting CDA, Associate's Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Customer-service oriented with a family-centered approach Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and meet the physical demands of the role Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic about working with young children EDU 119 coursework completed or in progress (preferred class teacher) Why Join Kiddie Academy of Harrisburg?
