Overview:

Bright Star Academy is a childcare center that is seeking a teacher candidate that is dependable, energetic, organized, flexible and passionate about the growth and development of our children. Candidate must implement daily activities while providing a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment. Also ensure our children at the Center are engaged and supervised at all times. Candidate must communicate professionally with all children, parents, and staff. Participate in professional conferences, training programs and continuing education as required.

Qualifications:

Must have previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields. Must be passionate about working with children, dependable, nurturing, and patient. Must have High-School diploma, NC Early Childhood Credential. Must have or be willing to obtain a BS/BA/ or Associates Degree in ECE or related field Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted, bend and stoop frequently and sit on the floor and get up unassisted, stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have CPR, TB test, current DCDEE Childcare Criminal Background Check, and SIDS. Must be commitment to professionalism, professional development, and working as a team player.
