Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool teacher to inspire and nurture young minds in a dynamic educational environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster early childhood development through engaging lessons, personalized support, and innovative teaching strategies. As a vital member of our educational team, you will create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning, curiosity, and social-emotional growth. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a commitment to child welfare to help shape the future of our students. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; NC Early Childhood Credential (EDU 119) is required or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of higher. Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting preferred Knowledge of child development , age-appropriate practices, and classroom management strategies Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons Must meet state licensing requirements , including background screening and health requirements Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Ability to lift up to 40 pounds , sit on the floor, and actively engage with children throughout the day Reliable attendance and a strong sense of professionalism

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
