The Preschool teacher is responsible for the organization and success of their classroom. Paid time off and vacation upon hire Employee referral program up to $1000 per employee Health Insurance through private coordinator Quarterly Bonus Program 401K Program with employer match Casual jeans and tee dress code Participation in the TEACH program for tuition coverage Annual raises based on your performance within the school Responsibilities Responsible for the daily functions and supervision of assigned classroom Understands and implements all Kids 'R' Kids polices and best practices Understands and implements all local state and national regulations regarding care and health and safety of children Successfully implements lesson plans and daily classroom schedule aligned with Kids 'R Kids Proprietary First-Class curriculum Classroom environment designed to foster children's confidence in learning and the ability to explore creatively Maintain a clean classroom consistent with health and safety standards Work in partnership with colleagues to maintain clean common areas and playgrounds Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Track children's ongoing progress and development to assess their needs individually Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through implementation of Kids 'R' Kids Brainwaves and STEAM Ahead supplemental curriculum Organize safe and well supervised lunch, nap, and snack hours Foster strong relationships with children and their families Attend all required staff meetings, trainings, and school functions Help with school opening and closing procedures as assigned Maintain professional appearance and uniform as defined in you Kids 'R' Kids employee handbook Requirements High school or equivalent, EDU119 preferred Prior experience working with children (preferred) Understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods Familiarity with state health and safety guidelines for classrooms Excellent communication and instructional skills Certification in child CPR or willing to get certification Working with children you must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. For Infant and Young Toddler teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib. Kids 'R' Kids is an equal opportunity employer. Monday to Friday School hours: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Work shift typically 9 hours with an hour lunch break
