$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Job description: Two-year-old Teacher Position Overview We are seeking a professional, dependable, and experienced Two-year-old Teacher to join our 5-Star private preschool. The Two-year-old Teacher will work collaboratively with a Co-Lead Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for children approximately one-to-two-year-olds. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, demonstrate professionalism and reliability, build positive relationships with children and families, and provide leadership within the classroom. Education & Experience Requirements —REQUIRED

Applicants must meet the following education and experience requirements to be considered for this position- Please do not apply if you don't meet the following: Greater than two years of early childhood work experience . Plus, one of following below: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or higher in Early Childhood Education/Child Development (ECE/CD). Completion of all required ECE coursework for an AAS degree program an individual is enrolled in, without full completion of the degree. AAS or higher in any major with at least 12 semester hours in ECE/CD. Completion of at least 60 semester hours toward bachelor's degree with at least 12 semester hours in ECE/CD. Applicants must be able to provide documentation and/or official transcripts to verify education and qualifications. Qualifications & Skills Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and positive guidance techniques. Knowledge of childcare health, safety, and sanitation requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively and professionally as part of a teaching team. Creativity, patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in supporting young children's development. Ability to receive feedback, participate in coaching, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.MUST HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE

Current physical and TB immunization or ability to obtain before hire. Completion of a qualifying criminal background check through the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education or ability to obtain before hire. Ability to lift 40 pounds and safely lift, carry, and assist young children. Must be able to physically interact at the child's level, sit comfortably and safely, stand, kneel with children throughout the various activities through the day.
