Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, providing care, and fostering their development. This role involves supervising children, planning play activities, and ensuring their well-being while promoting positive social interactions and learning experiences. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children in your care at all times. Engage and implement age-appropriate play activities that promote learning and development. Provide nurturing care by attending to children's basic needs including feeding, dressing, and hygiene. Foster a positive environment that encourages socialization and emotional growth among children. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a clean and organized childcare space to ensure a healthy environment. Administer first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies. Collaborate with other caregivers or educators to support children's individual needs, including those with special education requirements or disabilities. Required to work weekends rotating. Skills Proven experience in caregiving or babysitting roles is essential. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Ability to educate children through creative play and structured activities. Experience working with students or children with special needs is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid procedures to ensure children's safety. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly. Familiarity with preschool education concepts is a plus.
