This paid position offers a dynamic opportunity to engage with young children during their foundational developmental stages, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. As a Floater, you will provide flexible coverage across classrooms, assist with daily routines, and promote positive learning experiences for infants and toddlers. Your energetic presence will help set the tone for a joyful start to each day and support our teachers in delivering exceptional care. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision of infants and toddlers during morning hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap transitions, and play activities to promote healthy development Support classroom management by helping set up learning materials and maintaining a clean, organized environment Collaborate with lead teachers to implement age-appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth Communicate effectively with parents about their child's morning routines, behaviors, and needs to build trust and transparency Follow all mandated reporting laws and health & safety protocols to ensure compliance and protect children's welfare Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and provide flexible coverage as needed throughout the morning shift Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and best practices for infant and toddler care Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in first aid is a plus Familiarity with special education strategies or experience working with children with disabilities is advantageous Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner Demonstrated commitment to child safety, health standards, and confidentiality in accordance with licensing regulations This energetic role invites passionate caregivers eager to make a positive impact during the most formative years of children's lives.
