As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, manage daily classroom activities, and build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development will help create a positive foundation for children's growth, learning, and social-emotional well-being. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports toddler care, preschool experience, and special education needs. Manage daily classroom activities to promote active learning, positive behavior management, and classroom management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents about children's progress, developmental milestones, and classroom events to foster strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies while maintaining accurate records of student progress and incident reports. Incorporate early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs and developmental stages. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor growth in areas such as literacy education, math skills, and physical development. Experience Prior teaching experience with young children in preschool or daycare settings is required; experience working with children with special needs is highly valued. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience implementing behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation. Familiarity with early intervention programs and first aid/CPR certification is preferred to ensure safety and well-being. Strong communication skills for effective parent communication, team collaboration, and community engagement. Proven ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate child development instruction across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential for maintaining compliance within the educational environment.
