Job Description

Current Positions:

Full-time teaching positions • Shift- 9am to 6pm • Pay rate : $25.80 The Growing Place Teacher at the New Women's Campus (The Garden) plays a crucial role in teaching and ministering to children and parents in the New Life Program. This position focuses on providing age-appropriate curriculum and care to promote healthy development. The ideal candidate is a compassionate servant-leader committed to excellence in infant/toddler education. Candidates with experience working in a Licensed Childcare center are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

Implement age-appropriate curriculum and enforce behavioral rules in the classroom. Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the interests and learning styles of children. Build positive relationships with children and parents, track children's progress, and report to parents. Manage classroom activities, maintain cleanliness, and facilitate developmental milestones. Collaborate with others to implement lesson plans and encourage social interaction among children. Ensure child safety and follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures. Maintain inventory of classroom materials and supplies. Assist in the organization of special events and welcome and support volunteers.

Experience:

Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.

Required certifications:

NCECC Qualifying Letter Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a licensed daycare. Experience and desire to work with a diverse group of children. Basic computer proficiency, ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds, and work both indoors and outdoors. Valid NC driver's license (required) Preferred CPR & First Aid & NCID.
