Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate children
- Ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of each child
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians
- Follow established procedures for behavior management and discipline
- Monitor children's health and safety at all times
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare.
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to provide first aid or respond to emergencies as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
Educate:
Ability to plan and implement educational activities for children of different ages.First Aid:
Knowledge of first aid procedures to respond to emergencies or injuries.Caregiving:
Experience providing care for children in a nurturing and supportive manner.Childcare:
Familiarity with the operations and routines of a Childcare setting.Behavior Management:
Ability to implement positive behavior management techniques.Toddler Care:
Experience caring for toddlers, including meeting their unique needs.Childhood Development:
