Job Description

Beth Meyer Preschool, a Jewish early childhood education center, is looking for a loving, energetic teacher to join our team. We are a 5-star rated, play-based school rooted in developmentally appropriate practice. Our students range from ages 1 to 5, and we maintain very low staff-to-student ratios. Teachers work with students in small groups and one-on-one to support learning while maintaining a safe, engaging, and enjoyable learning environment. We're looking for someone who brings warmth, patience, and professionalism to their work and who can connect well with young children as well as with families and colleagues. This role requires a team player who values collaboration, communicates openly, and is ready to partner with a co-teacher to create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Candidates must also meet state licensing requirements. At Beth Meyer Preschool, we believe staff should feel supported and appreciated. We offer paid breaks throughout the day, two weeks paid time off, additional paid holidays, health benefits, discounted child care, and a school-year style calendar with built in professional development days. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a CBC Qualification letter through DCDEE prior to employment. Beth Meyer Preschool is an equal opportunity employer. Candidates of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
