Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with preschool standards and curriculum frameworks Lead classroom activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies to create a respectful and engaging learning environment Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school connections Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all children Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and special education strategies including early intervention approaches Oversee daily childcare routines such as toddler care, diapering, meal times, and outdoor play to support holistic child development Maintain accurate records of student assessments, standardized testing results, and lesson plans to track progress and inform instruction Skills/Qualifications AAS/Bachelors in ECE/CD Extensive experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings with a strong understanding of childhood development principles Expertise in curriculum development tailored for early learners, including literacy education, math instruction, and physical education Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques suitable for diverse classrooms Proven classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and independence Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols including first aid and CPR certification Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori methods or other innovative early childhood teaching approaches Experience working with standardized testing processes and implementing assessment tools for preschool-aged children Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms young lives.
