Job Description
KinderCare is seeking a dedicated Teacher for Rolesville Charter Academy to nurture and educate students in a supportive, engaging environment. In this role, you will design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, fostering academic, social, and emotional growth. You will create an inclusive classroom that celebrates diversity, ensures safety, and encourages curiosity. Collaborating closely with families and colleagues, you will monitor progress, adapt instruction, and contribute to a positive school culture focused on enriching early childhood and elementary learning experiences. Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate, standards-based lessons for students at Rolesville Charter Academy. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners. Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual learning needs. Communicate regularly with families about student growth, classroom activities, and expectations. Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support school-wide initiatives and student success. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and observations in accordance with school policies. Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social and emotional development. Participate in professional development and training offered by Kinder Care and the school. Ensure classroom safety, supervision, and adherence to all licensing and school regulations. Contribute to school events, meetings, and family engagement activities as needed.
