Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and support the developmental growth of toddlers. Duties Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum tailored to toddler development stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Lead daily classroom activities that promote exploration, creativity, and learning through play while maintaining a safe and stimulating environment. Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to encourage cooperation and independence among toddlers. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality childcare and education. Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, developmental assessments, attendance, and incident reports in accordance with licensing standards. Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings, especially in toddler care or preschool environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early intervention strategies. Proficiency in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and effective learning environments. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, health & safety regulations including first aid and CPR certification. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Experience working with children who have special needs or require individualized support plans is a plus. Pay:

$13.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
