Job Description
KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers to support educational programs at UNC Health Johnston. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons, nurture each child's growth, and maintain a safe, caring classroom. You'll collaborate with families, healthcare and education partners, and KinderCare colleagues to support students' academic, social, and emotional development. Responsibilities Create and deliver age-appropriate, standards-aligned lessons and activities. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Monitor student progress and document observations and assessments. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development. Collaborate with Kinder Care and UNC Health Johnston staff to align programs and support services. Implement behavior management strategies that support social-emotional growth. Prepare instructional materials and organize classroom resources. Participate in professional development and staff meetings. Follow all health, safety, and compliance policies and procedures. Support inclusive practices that respect diverse backgrounds and learning needs.
