Lead Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to manage a classroom effectively. The Child Care Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and staff to ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment. Provide care for children, including toddlers, while addressing their individual needs. Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive play and educational activities. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall childcare program. Assist children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring inclusive practices are followed. Administer first aid when necessary and maintain accurate records of incidents. Requirements Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare settings. (Associate Degree is Preferred.) Strong skills in classroom management to create an effective learning environment. Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices. Experience working with children with disabilities is preferred but not mandatory. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Ability to provide toddler care and support for various age groups within the daycare setting. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. A genuine passion for caregiving and nurturing children's growth.
