Job Description

Pay is commensurate with education and experience. Must have current Criminal Background Check, TB screening, and NC Early Childhood Credentials. Associate Degree in ECE preferred.
Major Functions:
Planning and executing educational program of age-appropriate activities for children in care and identifying each child's individual capabilities and needs Creating an appropriate learning environment Ensuring the welfare, health, and safety of all children Organizing and maintaining classroom activity areas, materials and supplies, and keeping the Director advised of equipment and materials that need to be repaired and replaced Maintaining constant supervision of children Taking daily attendance and keeping all required reports Establishing and maintaining effective communication with parents Keeping up to date with in-service training and certifications as required

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
