Early Childhood Educator - Leadership Growth Opportunity Steps & Stages Children's Center is looking for an energetic, dependable, and motivated Early Childhood Educator who truly LOVES working with children and wants to make a difference! We aren't just looking for someone to fill a position. We are looking for someone who can become an important part of our team — someone who brings initiative, creativity, positive energy, and a genuine love for children into the center every day. The Person We're Looking For Our ideal educator is: A self-starter who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative Self-motivated and able to work successfully without constant supervision Loving, nurturing, patient, and passionate about children Creative, outgoing, energetic, and FUN A strong team player who understands that everyone works together for the success of our children and center Dependable, responsible, and consistent Able to think on their feet and make smart, appropriate decisions quickly Organized and able to manage classroom responsibilities independently Comfortable communicating professionally with families and coworkers Coachable and willing to learn, while also bringing their own ideas to the table Someone who takes pride and ownership in their classroom and responsibilities Interested in growing professionally and potentially moving into a leadership role
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
Applicants MUST currently have a North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) Qualification Letter. Please do not apply if you do not currently have your Qualification Letter. Additional early childhood education credentials, experience, and education are a plus. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
