Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Child Care Worker-Opener to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for opening our childcare facility each morning, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will set the tone for a positive day, fostering development and joy in every child you care for. Responsibilities Welcome children and families as the first point of contact each morning, establishing a warm and trusting atmosphere Supervise children during arrival routines, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Prepare classroom materials and activities aligned with early childhood development standards Implement age-appropriate child supervision strategies, including toddler care and preschool activities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom environment to promote safety and learning Communicate effectively with parents about daily activities, developmental milestones, and any concerns Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and report any incidents or concerns promptly Assist with basic classroom management, behavior guidance, and implementing educational programs focused on childhood development Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction, early childhood education principles, and classroom management techniques Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, or similar safety training is required or willing to obtain upon hire Strong communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork within the childcare environment Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and enthusiasm Join us as a Child Care Worker-Opener to inspire young minds from the moment they arrive!
