Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for toddlers. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among young children. Engage children in activities that support literacy education, early intervention strategies, and foundational math skills. Manage classroom routines effectively, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions to ensure a smooth daily flow. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through updates and meetings. Apply behavior management techniques to foster positive social interactions and resolve conflicts constructively. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently. Requirements Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is essential. Knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management, and childhood welfare practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety during emergencies. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children alike. Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, special education needs, and standardized testing is preferred. Demonstrated ability to implement lesson planning tailored for toddler learners while incorporating physical education activities when appropriate.
