Job Overview:

We are seeking part time and full time Childcare Assistant Teacher and Float for our toddler and infant rooms to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with children in a childcare setting, have patience, and are reliable.

Responsibilities:

• Help implement lesson plans that meet the educational and developmental needs of children
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Help with conducting activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Help with teacher breaks, meal times, nap times, and outdoor time
• depending on shift
• Help to maintain clean and organized classrooms conducive to learning
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create positive learning experiences

Skills:

• Having a love for children!
• Comfortable working with preschool-aged and younger children
• Ability to recognize when help or assistance with something is needed and to jump right in
• Strong caregiving skills and patience when working with young children
