Little Blessings Academy is looking for a fun, caring, dependable, and flexible Float Teacher to join our growing team! As our Float Teacher, you'll be our classroom superhero — jumping in wherever you're needed, helping teachers, playing with kiddos, joining activities, and helping keep the day running smoothly. One day you might be building a giant block tower, the next you might be dancing during music time, helping with a craft, reading a favorite story, or lending a hand during nap time. You never know what adventure the day will bring! What You'll Do Jump into different classrooms and help wherever the fun is happening! Play, explore, create, read, sing, dance, and learn alongside the children Help teachers keep classrooms safe, organized, and running smoothly Support children during meals, snacks, nap time, transitions, toileting, and daily routines Help with classroom activities and our learning experiences Give teachers a helping hand when classrooms get busy Help maintain required staff-to-child ratios Help keep our spaces clean, organized, and ready for the next adventure Assist with opening and/or closing when scheduled Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to jump in! We're Looking for Someone Who… LOVES kids and genuinely enjoys being around them Is dependable and shows up when they say they will Can roll with the unexpected — because childcare is never boring! Is comfortable moving between classrooms and working with different age groups Has a positive, upbeat attitude Is patient, kind, nurturing, and encouraging Works well as part of a team Can take direction but also knows when to jump in and help Doesn't mind getting down on the floor, getting a little messy, or joining the fun Understands that little people can have BIG personalities! What Makes a Great Float Teacher? You don't have to know exactly what every day will look like. You just need to be the person who says: "Where do you need me?" Whether a classroom needs an extra set of hands, someone to lead a silly dance party, a buddy for a child who needs a little extra attention, or someone to help reset the room — you're ready to jump in! Schedule & Hours Starting pay: $15/hour This is a part-time, flexible position with hours based on center needs, enrollment, staffing, and your availability. There may be opportunities for additional hours for team members who demonstrate great attendance, reliability, flexibility, and teamwork. Because we are a childcare center, reliability is HUGE!
