Preschool Lead Teacher Wee Folk Childcare - Bismarck, ND Join Our Team! Wee Folk Childcare is seeking a passionate, energetic, and dependable Preschool Lead Teacher to join our growing team! If you love inspiring young children, creating engaging learning experiences, and making a lasting impact, we'd love to meet you. As our Preschool Lead Teacher, you will create a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment while helping children build the academic, social, and emotional skills they need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily activities. Create a welcoming classroom that promotes curiosity, creativity, and independence. Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Maintain a structured classroom using positive guidance and behavior management techniques. Observe, assess, and document each child's progress. Communicate professionally with families regarding their child's growth and development. Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to provide a high-quality early learning experience. Ensure compliance with North Dakota childcare licensing regulations and Wee Folk Childcare policies. Maintain accurate attendance, lesson plans, developmental assessments, and classroom documentation. Keep the classroom clean, organized, and safe for all children. Qualifications Experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting preferred. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must pass all required background checks and meet North Dakota childcare licensing requirements.
