Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this dynamic role, you will lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster growth, curiosity, and a love for learning in infants. Your leadership will ensure a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will serve as a role model for staff and parents alike, promoting best practices in childcare and early childhood education. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while advancing your career in early childhood development. Duties Design and execute stimulating daily activities tailored to infants' developmental stages, including sensory play, motor skills development, and social interaction. Provide attentive infant care by monitoring feeding schedules, diapering needs, sleep routines, and health observations. Lead classroom management efforts to create a safe, organized, and positive environment that encourages exploration and learning. Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements that support early childhood education standards and individual child needs. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation protocols, and emergency procedures. Mentor junior staff and assist in training new teachers to uphold high-quality caregiving practices rooted in childhood development principles. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, particularly with infants or toddlers. Strong knowledge of early childhood education theories, infant care practices, and classroom management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus. Familiarity with behavior management strategies tailored to young children's needs. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Ability to demonstrate patience, compassion, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in nannying or babysitting young children is advantageous but not mandatory. Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
