Job Summary We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and reliable Toddler Teacher to guide children ages 18 months through 2 years old in a developmentally appropriate, play-based classroom. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, independence, and foundational skills that prepare children for Preschool and beyond. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a structured and supportive atmosphere. Teach literacy skills through interactive activities, storytelling, and hands-on learning experiences. Incorporate physical education into daily activities to promote health and wellness among preschoolers. Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Implement behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among students. Create a safe and inclusive environment that respects diversity and promotes social skills. Qualifications Experience in preschool settings or childcare environments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles is encouraged. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate various subjects. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment. A genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to their development. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred. High School Diploma or higher is preferred.
