Preschool /daycare teacher

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive learning experience. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of preschool children. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain order and promote positive behavior among students. Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational program that meets the needs of all students, including those with special needs or disabilities. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Experience Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential. Background in early childhood education or related field is preferred. Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices is highly desirable. Experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Skills in behavior management, classroom experience, and caregiving are beneficial. First aid certification is preferred but not required at the time of hire; willingness to obtain certification is necessary.
