Responsibilities Lead and manage daily classroom activities for infants, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment aligned with developmental milestones. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in infants. Supervise and support assistant teachers and caregivers to maintain high standards of care and educational quality. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including pediatric first aid, CPR, mandated reporting laws, and health regulations. Observe individual children's behaviors and developmental progress to tailor care plans that support their unique needs. Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, developmental observations, incident reports, and health records. Foster positive behavior management strategies that encourage independence and social skills among infants. Qualifications Proven experience working with infants in childcare settings such as daycare centers or preschools. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques. Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), pediatric first aid preferred. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while providing attentive supervision of children. Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is valued; classroom experience is preferred.
