In this role, you will be responsible for guiding infants and toddlers through their early developmental stages, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and physical activity tailored to infants and toddlers Provide attentive toddler care by supporting daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in compliance with health and safety standards Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies that foster independence, social skills, and emotional regulation Update parents and guardians with daily communication via our Smartcare app Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to ensure a collaborative approach to development Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to mandated reporting laws for child safety incidents Incorporate early intervention techniques when necessary to support children with special needs or developmental delays Document observations of children's growth using standardized testing methods and progress reports to inform lesson planning and individual learning goals Skills Strong knowledge of child development principles specific to infancy and toddlerhood Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings with classroom management expertise Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods or other early childhood education philosophies Familiarity with curriculum development focused on literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and childhood development strategies Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and well-being Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with behavior management techniques suitable for young children Proficiency in classroom experience including daycare/etc. Ability to adapt teaching strategies for children with special education needs Join us in shaping the future by providing a warm, enriching environment where infants and toddlers can thrive!
Pay:
