Duties and Responsibilities The goal of teachers at Dani's Dreams Daycare is to provide a warm, nurturing, safe, and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced, independence encouraged, and individuality respected. We are seeking creative, energetic teachers with experience with Infants and Toddlers. Serve as a
Childcare Provider:
Create and maintain a warm, safe, and positive environment that encourages learning and socialization; Engage children in active conflict management and address behavior issues in a positive manner, and Establish and foster positive relationships with children in care and their parent(s)/guardian(s); Support the Effective Operations of the
Daycare Program:
Lead all aspects of the day, including daily schedule, activities, snacks & meals (including feeding infants/babies), hand washing, diapering/toileting needs. Contribute to daily communication and written records for parents/guardians of children in care, including a brief daily written report for each child documenting activities, incidents/injuries, concerns, etc., and Support in the organization, cleanliness, and maintenance needs of the childcare space. Qualifications High School Diploma Knowledge of best practices early child development/care Prior childcare experience, preferably in a daycare or childcare center setting ELG teacher certification or working towards certification Familiarity with Nebraska ELG guidelines Infant/Child First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain certification Ability to work independently and remain organized in a fast-paced environment The ability to focus and thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment; The ability to work effectively in a team environment and the willingness and desire to support others in doing their best work; and An openness to change, a willingness to problem-solve, and an interest in receiving feedback for continuous improvement.
