This role involves providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children can learn, play, and grow. The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and understands the importance of creating a positive, responsive, and structured classroom environment. Our teachers help support each child's social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and developmental growth through age-appropriate activities, play, consistent routines, and meaningful interactions. We are looking for candidates with 2+ years of childcare experience preferred , but we are happy to train the right person who has a genuine passion for working with children and a willingness to learn and grow with our team. Key Responsibilities Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in your care Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities based on the age and needs of the children Encourage learning through play, exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences Support children in developing independence, social skills, communication, and age-appropriate routines Use positive guidance strategies to support behavior and social-emotional development Actively engage and interact with children throughout the day Communicate daily with families regarding their child's day, progress, and classroom activities through Brightwheel and in person Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Maintain accurate records and required documentation Follow all state licensing requirements and center policies Work collaboratively with other teachers and team members to ensure smooth classroom operations Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or early childhood coursework is a plus) 2+ years of childcare experience preferred CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire) Ability to actively engage with and supervise children throughout the day Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Patient, dependable, positive, and caring personality Ability to create and maintain a structured, welcoming classroom environment Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements Benefits & Perks 50% off childcare tuition Paid Time Off (PTO) Holiday pay Flexible scheduling options Typical schedule: 4 ten-hour days per week (with flexibility) Supportive, family-oriented work environment Opportunities for growth and ongoing training Come grow with us!
